A series made in attempt to preserve and translate my Grandmother's character through the personification of her things; after her sudden death. Working in a manner so as to glorify and elevate the status of her everyday things, I present her home with dignity and importance. Relying on the process of visually cataloguing every physical detail of a place I spent most of my life in; I attempt to prevent any loss of experience or memory that fades with time. The process of shooting with a large format camera forced me to execute each photograph precisely and slowly as I was capturing the only physical thing left of an emotional relationship now severed through the act of death.
